Janet Ravin is the founder and Committee Chair of the Rimini Street Foundation, the privately funded charitable arm of Rimini Street, Inc. Drawing on her experience serving the community from the age of 6, she leads the global efforts of the Foundation with the Global Steering Committee, a rotating group of dedicated employees who volunteer their time and hearts to supporting the success of the Foundation across the communities we live in and serve.

Ms. Ravin is a strong advocate for literacy and education as long-term, sustainable solutions to ending generational poverty and the myriad of health, financial, and social challenges that accompany this dangerous, perpetuating cycle. She is a firm believer that all children and adults alike should dream big, think big, and dare to act big, and supports charities that are focused on literacy and empowerment.

When Ms. Ravin is not serving as the Committee Chair, she volunteers her time as a Board Member and Philanthropy Committee Chair of the American Red Cross Southern Nevada chapter.

Dee Owens serves as the Committee Secretary for the Rimini Street Foundation. She is an HR Special Projects Analyst at Rimini Street with a lifelong passion for volunteerism and community service. She was honored as a recipient of the Presidential Service Award in 2015 in recognition of her over 400 hours of service in the United States, Japan, Dominican Republic, and Spain. Dee is dedicated to public education and has supervised or contributed to public archaeology digs that allow high school students to experience their local history in a hands-on environment. Since joining Rimini Street, Dee has helped organize a volunteer event with Meals on Wheels Chicago and looks forward to putting her values into action through the Rimini Street Foundation’s work.

Mr. William Cahyadi, based in Singapore, holds the position of a Sales Development Representative. He shares great enthusiasm for the Rimini Street Foundation’s programs which extends its hands to those in need across the globe.   

He fondly recalls his first-hand experience volunteering with his church, organizing a visit to an orphanage in Bantam, Indonesia. He and his fellow volunteers dedicated their time to entertaining the children of the organization, playing, teaching, and singing together. This event imprinted a deep love for community service for William.  

Mr. Cahyadi is honored for this opportunity to represent the South East Asia/Greater China region as a Foundation Committee member, and continues his personal commitment to contribute back to society

Diego Caorsi, a UC Berkeley graduate, draws from his education and many years of practical experience gained while working in California’s Silicon Valley, Chicago, and Las Vegas to further the growth of Rimini Street since joining in 2018.

Diego Caorsi advocates for compassion, kindness, and progress for humankind. “If you can make a positive contribution, you should” is one of his favorite phrases. Over the years, Diego volunteered for several organizations, including Feed My Starving Children and Pacific Garden Mission of the Chicago area. In Las Vegas, he assisted the Rimini Street Foundation to amplify its efforts to serve The Cupcake Girls, The Shade Tree, Baby’s Bounty, Three Square Food Bank, Cure 4 The Kids Foundation, Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth, and the Las Vegas Quilters Club.

As a local Ambassador of the Rimini Street Foundation, he will be contributing to the company’s philanthropic efforts in the Las Vegas metropolitan area and the western U.S region.

Jim Duggan is currently the Vice President of Client Engagements for Rimini Street. Mr. Duggan is new to the Rimini Street Foundation but is not new to volunteering and being part of charitable organizations. Jim has been volunteering at St. John’s Soup Kitchen in Newark, NJ for the past 10 years. Volunteering at St John’s has become a family event where Jim’s wife Amy and their two children Bridget and Jack participate. In addition, Jim Duggan started and chaired the Ancient Order of Hibernian’s Golf Outing, which proceeds went to the Msgr. John P. McHugh Scholarship Fund. During his tenure over $100, 000 dollars was given to the Scholarship Fund and awarded to College Students in need.
Mr Duggan is also a member of the Friendly Sons of Shillelagh that hosts numerous charity events such as St. Baldricks’s Foundation for childhood cancer funding; Frank Schott Blood Drive; Luck O’ Pup pet adoption and fundraiser. Jim was awarded the Bronze Presidential Volunteer Service Award.

Ronen Joined Rimini Street in 2019 as a Service Solution Architect. Giving back to the community and volunteering has always been an important part of his life since an early age. He has worked with disabled children teaching them photography, led a bicycle ride group, and held a weekly meeting of mediation and mindfulness for his community. Being on the Foundation committee is a great privilege and inspiration for Ronen.

Paula Gimenes is a Sr. Paralegal and joined Rimini Street in April, 2018. She started volunteering in college, when a friend invited her to prepare Christmas gift bags and then distribute to the children living in the streets of Sao Paulo, a project she participated for 5 years. Additionally, she has always supported her local church’s program to help children out of difficult situations. On her first trip to USA, attending the annual Legal meeting, she was introduced to the work of the Rimini Street Foundation during a volunteer event spent crafting pillowcases to donate to children in foster care. She knew that she had found something truly special that day, and each year after that, she has participated in every Rimini Street Foundation event she could and helped to organize the first Rimini Street blood drive in Brazil.

Tiffany Hill is an Executive Assistant to Emmanuelle Hose based in the United Kingdom. She has been a proud Committee Member of the Rimini Street Foundation since she joined the company in July 2022. As a strong advocate for child and animal protection, Tiffany is a long-term active donor for various UK charities. Being able to help those that are less fortunate than herself is a great privilege and inspiration.

Ms. Holly Kim’s commitment for community service began during her high school years in Bangkok, Thailand where she taught English to the locals and helped build a school campus in a small village near Chiangmai to further positively impact access and quality of education provided in the area.  

Since then, she has moved to South Korea to pursue her bachelor’s degree and has continued to teach English on a voluntary basis, this time for the seniors of “Ewha Social Services Center.”  

As a Committee Member representing the Rimini Street Foundation on behalf of Korea, Ms. Kim has helped organize volunteer activities and donations benefitting children in orphanages and in underserved regions of Seoul.  

Bopanna Machaiah is actively involved with a group of volunteers for in sapling plantation drive in and around his hometown of Coorg, India, to create awareness about the importance of conserving nature for the future. Besides volunteering for CSR initiatives through the Rimini Street Foundation, Bopanna has provided financial aid to a few NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) that run old age homes and orphanages for children in Bengaluru.

Amar Manickam believes that happiness is found in helping others, and helping others has always been a passion of his life. If you want to be happy, Amar believes, don’t see it in you, see it in another’s smile. He has volunteered by helping the local school by donating stationary, spending time with homeless people, and working to plant saplings. For Amar, it is not about how much we give, but how much love we put into giving. We may not all have the same amount of money, but as long as Amar has time to give, he is honored to be a part of the Rimini Street Foundation Committee since 2018.

Padma has been leading the CSR efforts on behalf of Rimini Street India since 2016, supporting student education. Padma worked with Mythri Association to fund student education, collaborated with Hyderabad Children’s Aid Society and organized health camps (general health, vision, dental), bought and distributed basic hygiene essential kits to children, and organized Management visits to meet children. Padma partnered with Hyderabad Deccan Round Table 189 for fund raising activities like Golf Tournament and representing Rimini India as a title sponsor during the Golf Award Night in 2018 and 2019. This fund was utilized to build a school block and toilet block at Zilla Parishad School at Papireddyguda, and she also participated in its inauguration. In association with HDRT 189, she was involved in distribution of Hearing Aids to children from Helen Keller Institute for Deaf. She worked with Ashray Akruti School to fund a computer lab for hearing challenged children, with Balavikas Educational Society for Disabled Children to fund student education in 2018 and 2019, and organized Management visits for their annual day celebrations. For Akshaya Vidya Tuition Centres run by Ekalavya Foundation, she extended support for running 10 centers supporting 300 children since 2019, refurbished laptops donation for tutors, participated in their annual celebrations, visited tutor training camps, and coordinated grocery distribution drive organized by Akshaya Vidya during Covid-19 lockdown. Padma also works in collaboration with the Rimini Street Foundation to process funds to approved charity organizations nominated by RSI Employees in the Employee Directed Grant Program. She is passionate about making a difference to the society and that reflects in her diverse efforts over the years. She has been privileged to serve Rimini Street Foundation since 2016 as a Steering Committee Member, and has been the pillar behind all the CSR efforts on behalf of Rimini Labs.

Ann Newsham is Senior HR Manager (EMEA) with Rimini Street. Ann has always been passionate about fund-raising and believes in giving back. Ann is a keen runner and has run marathons, half marathons, and 10k’s, raising money for various children’s charities and has gone through many pairs of running shoes!

Prior to Rimini Street, Ann has also provided HR pro bono work throughout her HR career to various local businesses and charities who need expert HR help but are unable to afford it. In Ann’s spare time she, and her family, volunteer for a local charity, Nightstop, providing overnight stays for teenagers/young adults who are homeless and need refuge. Ann has also given her time to fundraise for this local charity that relies on donations to survive.

Kerri (Betts) Piersey is an experienced legal professional supporting the Contracts Compliance team, within RSI’s wider Ethics & Compliance team. Kerri is actively involved in her community, specifically in the area of Anti-Human Trafficking. She’s served as a volunteer for the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (State of Georgia) – Statewide Human Trafficking Tasks Force, assisting with organizing lunch and learns to bring awareness to the community. Kerri is also a facilitator for Love 146, a non-profit organization that provides resources to combat child trafficking.

Kerri obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Law and Legal Assistance from Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia and her Master in the Study of Law from the University of Georgia Law School in Athens, Georgia. She is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated.

Marilia Sutilo is a Technical Support Administrator in the Asia Pacific region. As a former gymnast and part of a strong community in Australia, Marilia knows that when great people are together, great things can be achieved. Born and raised in Brazil and living in Australia since 2015, Marilia is a proud volunteer for the Brazilian organization called #lembradecasa (#rememberhome), which has become a registered charity in 2022, raising donations from Brazilians living outside of Brazil in order to provide food for people in poverty back their home country. She has also volunteered facilitating group activities for kids and beach clean-ups on the coast of Adelaide in South Australia. Marilia is proud and honored to be part of Rimini Street Foundation committee representing Australia in order to give back to people in her local community.

Volunteering and community work is not only a big part of Sricharitha Yasa’s life, but also in the life of her family. She and her family give back in many ways, including visiting orphanages on special occasions like birthdays and her marriage anniversaries to provide them lunch and dinner, helping needy children with study materials like books and stationary items, and providing sanitary items to young women to help them maintain personal hygiene. She also spends time with the residents of a local elderly care facility and loves listening to their experiences and providing them with some aid. Sricharitha takes part in caring for the earth by planting native flora in her spare time. She is excited to help the Foundation Committee with another year of helping make the world a better place.
